Sonya L. Sigler is the founder of PractiGal LLC and is the creator of the WELCOME to the Next Level Process. She created this WELCOME Process to effectively sell herself when she needed to figure out a clear path forward professionally and personally. Having learned to do this work the hard way, Sonya now builds powerful storytellers who can then refine and polish their personal brand. This work empowers others to align their work and life visions and to approach both with a renewed vigor.
For the last twenty years, Sonya has worked with founders, team leaders, and their employees one-on-one and as teams to create real-world game plans for their company and products that are realistic, practical, and achievable. The end result of this work is building effective, collaborative teams and happy, satisfied employees who then work together to take the business to the next level.
Sonya started her career as an in-house lawyer with Sega and discovered that she likes to build new processes and systems and mentor others. As a mentor, one of the most frequently asked questions Sonya hears is "Can you help me figure out what to do next?" Through answering this question herself and helping others answer that question, and more, Sonya became a leadership success coach. She has helped hundreds of highly motivated professional women (and enlightened and progressive men) be known for who they are and take ownership of their own career to reach the next level.
She is a frequent writer, speaker and trainer on many topics, including business strategy and career planning. She has spent a considerable amount of time speaking and teaching on various legal-related topics and has trained over 1,000 lawyers in statistics and linguistics for data analytics. Her other training programs focus on philanthropic grant writing, fundraising, and advocacy.
Sonya lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, with her husband and two cats and occasionally her three sons when they are home from college. Most of the time, she can be found volunteering in her community, performing on stage, raising money, or traveling the world to meet new people and to explore different cultures and cuisines.
