He leads cross-functional teams and counsels executives with a people-first approach, resulting in the successful design and implementation of legal solutions for clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to SMBs, recognized for their innovation, efficiency and effectiveness.

Currently serving as VP, Head of Consulting for Factor Law, Inc., Michael's team delivers CLM-focused legal solutions globally. Michael brings a unique problem-solving approach, deep legal industry knowledge and a focus on collaboration, technology and data analytics to legal services. A recognized thought leader in legal innovation, Michael holds a law degree from the University of Oregon, a Master's in Information Management from the University of Washington and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He is also a member of several legal innovation organizations and has published and presented on legal and technology topics including artificial intelligence and legal process optimization. Outside of work, Michael is an avid learner and actively involved in his church community.
